The Black Heritage Festival awards scholarships annually to deserving students.  The applicant must have a minimum of a 3.0 grade point average, be a graduating high school senior and have a minimum ACT score of 20.

The recipient may attend any accredited 4-yr college, community college or technical school of his/her choice and enrolled with a minimum of 12 semester hours.
